May 9
Arrival
- Fly into Newark / Travel to the Asbury Hotel (210 Fifth Ave, Asbury Park, NJ)
- An airport transfer will be provided at 1:30 pm and upon request afterward. Please email [email protected] for access to the transportation signup sheet.
- 5:00 - 5:30 PM Meet in Hotel Lobby to get ready for our first session. If you are up for a 20 minute walk (weather permitting) we will all be walking together to Over the Moon Studios, an independent artspace hosting our evening get-together. We will call Lyfts for those who do not wish to walk over. Address: 808 Springwood Avenue Asbury Park, NJ 07712 .Dinner will be delivered from a local restaurant.
- 5:45 - 6:30 PM Arrive Over the Moon Studios. Pre Dinner: Meet & Greet / Intros
- 6:30 - 7:30 PM Dinner Delivered
- 7:30 - 8:30 PM Opening Workshop
- 8:30 PM - Free time, head back and enjoy either of the two bars at the hotel, or walk along the waterfront!
May 10
Spring Retreat, Day 1
- 8:00 - 9:00 AM Breakfast at The Asbury Hotel
- 9:00 - 1:00 PM Leadership Sessions at Asbury Lanes
- 1:00 - 3:00 PM Group Excursion to Silverball Arcade, Lunch included
- 3:00 - 6:00 PM Continue the fun at Silverball, or weather permitting, we'll visit some cool spots on the waterfront
- 6:00 - 6:30 PM Walk or rideshare to TAKA
- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM Group Dinner Offsite at TAKA
- Evening - Night out on your own
May 11
Spring Retreat, Day 2
- 8:00 - 9:00 AM Breakfast at Asbury Ocean Club
- 9:00 - 12:00 PM Leadership Sessions at Asbury Ocean Club
- 10:45 am - 11:15 am - Check out and store bags
- 12:00 - 1:00 PM Group Lunch Onsite
- 1:00 PM - on: Retreat concludes. Explore on your own - please contact [email protected] if you would like ideas or recommendations.
- 2:00 PM - For those who requested, an airport transfer to Newark (EWR) will depart Asbury Hotel at 2pm.

The Asbury Hotel, located 1 block from the famous boardwalk, aims to weave together the Jersey Shore’s aspirational Victorian-era history and its more recent rock-and-roll reputation. Asbury’s bar has quickly become a popular music venue for locals, and one of its two rooftop lounges doubles as an open-air cinema. In May, you can expect the beer garden and food trucks will be in full bloom!

FAQ
How do I get there?
The closest major airport is Newark, NJ (EWR). As we get closer to the event, we will coordinate transportation between Newark Airport and Asbury Park on Tues and Thurs. If you arrive or depart outside of these dates, or into another airport, there are several options for trains to Asbury Park or into Manhattan for sightseeing which we will share.
What is your cancellation policy?
7CTOs is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all of our members. If public health or safety concerns require us to reschedule or cancel the event, we will reapply your registration fees toward dues or future events. Otherwise, cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance to ensure that bookings may be finalized without impact to the other attendees.
