Founder and CEO
Etienne de Bruin is the founder and CEO of 7CTOs, a training company for world-class CTOs, and co-founder of EXE, a coaching firm for executive teams in tech. Creator of the CTO Levels framework and author of CTO Excellence in 100 Days, he helps leaders bridge the gap between technology and business success.
Etienne also writes the CTO Substack and hosts The CTO Podcast, sharing insights on leadership, strategy, and the evolving role of the CTO.
Kathy Keating
Growth Program Director
Kathy Keating is a mission-driven technology executive, bringing three decades of experience in HRTech, FinTech and HealthTech industries. Most of the software products she and her teams have built are still in production today. As a two-time founder with an exit, she is a forward-thinking leader committed to steering and empowering high-performing teams to cultivate great culture and deliver successful results.
Kathy has been at the helm of many visionary strategies, transformations, strategic partnerships, pivotal initiatives, turnarounds, and out of the box problem solving leading growing companies to scale quickly and effectively including at such companies as Monster, Webroot, Autopay, and Ad Hoc. Kathy has led both Product and Engineering (CTPO) multiple times in her career .
Kathy is a Fractional CTO, CTO Advisor, and Executive Coach. She assists startups and scaleups to optimize their product engineering operations so that they can deliver quickly and effectively. Kathy also has played the Interim CTO for companies to help them bridge the gap during a transition.
Diana Pfeil
Owner

Diana Pfeil is an AI consultant, and established leader in engineering and machine learning/AI with 20 years of experience building data products. She is a two-time CTO at venture backed startups, most recently at Pex, the trusted global leader in digital rights technology. Prior to Pex, she held roles at Amazon, PayPal, and several startups, focusing on e-commerce, lending, travel, and responsible AI. Diana holds a PhD from MIT, and has a passion for the data community. She has been heavily involved as an event organizer, speaker, and adjunct professor teaching machine learning at CU Denver.
